The third annual UK Quantum Hackathon, delivered by the National Quantum Computing Centre, will take place at the University of Warwick from 22-24 July 2024.
- The hackathon provides hands-on experience working with quantum algorithms and programming quantum computers
- Participants have the opportunity to work in teams with industry mentors on real-world use cases, to understand the challenge and develop a solution
- The event is aimed at early career researchers in the UK, including at masters, PhD and postdoc level
- Places are free with overnight accommodation and meals included. Some travel bursaries are available
- Participants are welcome to join the ‘sandbox sessions’ with quantum computing providers and learn how to programme quantum processors
- The event will provide an opportunity to showcase your knowledge and understanding as part of a team
- Prizes are awarded to the top 3 teams
