Quantum computing for healthcare and pharmaceuticals

Quantum computing is poised to accelerate advances in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, addressing some of the most complex challenges in drug discovery, diagnostics, personalised medicine, and healthcare delivery.

At the National Quantum Computing Centre, we are working with the healthcare, pharmaceuticals and life sciences sectors to explore how quantum computing can accelerate innovation, improve patient outcomes, and transform healthcare systems. From accelerating molecular simulations and enhancing clinical trial design, to optimising healthcare operations, quantum computing offers a new computational paradigm that could overcome the limitations of today’s conventional technologies.
