About In2STEM

In2STEM (formerly the In2science summer programme) is a fantastic opportunity for 16-19-year-olds (Year 12 or S5/S6) passionate about STEM. Running from July 22 to August 23 2024, the programme offers a blend of online and in-person activities, equipping participants with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to excel in STEM.

The placements are located within commutable distance, ensuring all students can easily participate. In2STEM is entirely free to join.

About the workshop

This workshop will be available to students on the ‘In2STEM’ programme as part of their placement activities. Drawing from lived experience, the NQCC’s Outreach and Engagement Officer, Daisy Shearer, will give a careers talk about their journey into a quantum career and embracing neurodiversity in STEM. Students will learn about ways to neurodiversity and techniques for neurodivergent individuals to navigate quantum careers successfully.
