National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) publishes its fourth Annual Report ahead of the UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase 2024, which takes place tomorrow in London.
2024 has been a year of significant operational growth for the NQCC. Key milestones include the completion of our facility construction, the commissioning of our labs, and the deployment of our SBRI Testbed platforms – all marking the culmination of years of careful planning and development.
The highlight of the year was our Ministerial Opening with Lord Vallance, Minister of State for Science, Research and Innovation. At the same time, we have been actively charting a path to achieve quantum advantage at scale in support of the UK’s ambitious Quantum Missions.
With our state-of-the-art facilities, laboratory spaces, and computational infrastructure now fully operational, along with an expanding network of strategic partnerships, we are entering a pivotal year. The focus will shift from infrastructure development to accelerating technology delivery and advancing quantum capabilities.
We are pleased to share the online version of our 2024 Annual Report, which outlines the progress made by the Centre over the past year, the outlook for the future, and the next steps in our journey.
