The NQCC facility has been formally opened by the Minister of State for Science, Research and Innovation, Lord Vallance

We are delighted to announce that the NQCC’s facility was inaugurated this morning by the Science Minister, joined by representatives from leading quantum companies, academia, the National Quantum Technologies Programme (NQTP), and government, including officials from the Office for Quantum. Many of the NQCC’s key partners and collaborators were in attendance.

“The inauguration of the National Quantum Computing Centre marks a significant milestone for the UK, underscoring our commitment to advancing quantum technologies and fostering collaboration. This state-of-the-art facility will serve as a central hub for innovation, bringing together researchers, businesses, and stakeholders to unlock the transformative potential of quantum computing for the future”, says Dr Michael Cuthbert, Director at NQCC.
